Our Vision

Animo began with the heartfelt vision of three dedicated women who sought to create a haven for abused, abandoned, and neglected animals. Their dream was to offer a safe shelter, comprehensive rehabilitation, and a nurturing, home-like environment for animals in desperate need. Starting in a rented space, they transformed the facility into a warm, welcoming home with clean, comfortable rooms and cage-free, chain-free areas for dogs. Today, Animo is home to 128 animals, both cats and dogs, who have recovered from serious illnesses like tick fever and parvovirus. Each one is now ready for adoption, awaiting a loving new home. Supported by a devoted team that provides round-the-clock care, Animo remains dedicated to ensuring every animal is treated with kindness and respect, embodying the founders’ vision of a place where every creature feels valued and cared for.
